Get your deposit, refund or wrong charge back. Your evidence turned into an itemised rebuttal, a firm demand letter and a clear path if they ignore you.
Just a few details to get started
The rules and the routes to escalate differ by place.
With the currency.
A landlord kept your deposit for "cleaning". A shop refused a refund on something that broke in a week. A charge you never agreed to sits on your card. A parking ticket landed for a bay you paid for. Most people give up, because writing a firm letter that answers every point and names the rules is hard. This does it from your own evidence. Pick the kind of dispute, say where you are and how much is at stake, tell us what happened, and upload what you have: the lease or contract, move-in and move-out photos, receipts, bank statements, the ticket, and the other side's letter or emails. The first read gives you a case-strength score and the three strongest points in your favour, each tied to the document or the part of your account that backs it, plus the one thing that would make the case stronger. The full case file adds a summary and a dated timeline, an itemised rebuttal that answers each deduction, refusal or charge with the evidence that meets it, a firm and polite demand letter that names the legal principle for where you are and sets a 14-day deadline, a follow-up letter for when they do not reply, your evidence-pack checklist, and the escalation path: small claims, the card chargeback window, and the regulator or ombudsman, with typical time limits. **Facts come only from you.** Nothing is made up to strengthen your case, because one invented detail is all the other side needs to dismiss the letter. Anything we had to assume is listed for you to check before you send. **We never quote a section number.** We name the law only as far as we are sure of it, and otherwise write "your local deposit law" (or the equivalent) and tell you to look it up. A wrong citation does more harm than none. Works best for the United States, the United Kingdom and Kenya, where it knows the usual routes; elsewhere it uses the general principles and tells you what to check. Photos (JPG, PNG, WEBP) and born-digital PDFs and Word files are read; a scanned PDF may come through blank, so photograph the page instead. **This is not legal advice.** It is an automated case file built from what you give it. It cannot promise you will get your money back. For a large sum, talk to a lawyer, a law centre or a consumer advice service.
