Find out if the loan fits before the lender does - then walk in with the plan, the cash-flow forecast and the numbers they will check.
Just a few details to get started
What you sell, who buys it, and how. Two or three sentences is enough.
A three-letter code, the same one your statements are in.
What you will buy or pay for, and how it helps the business.
3 to 12 months, as PDFs from your bank or the M-Pesa app. Add any figures you already have (a sales book, accounts). Born-digital PDFs read best; scans and photos often cannot be read.
Needed only if you are not uploading statements.
Stock, rent, wages, transport, everything the business pays out, apart from loan repayments. Needed only without statements.
Banks, SACCOs and microfinance lenders ask for two things most owners cannot produce: a business plan, and a cash-flow forecast that shows the loan can be repaid. This app builds both from your real figures. Upload 3 to 12 months of bank or M-Pesa statements, or type your average monthly sales and costs, and say how much you want to borrow and what for. We read the monthly money in and out from your statements, then work out - in plain arithmetic, not a model's guess - the monthly instalment, a 12-month cash-flow forecast, and the debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) every lender calculates. The first answer is the one you came for: does this loan comfortably fit, is it tight, or does it not fit at all? If it does not, you are told the amount or the term that would. The full plan adds a lender-ready business plan (executive summary, the business, market and competition, operations, management, use of funds, risks and how you handle them), the forecast month by month as a chart and a spreadsheet, every assumption written down, a stress test with sales 20% lower, and a one-page summary to hand the loan officer. **Good to know.** Born-digital PDF statements read best; a scan or a photo of a page often has no readable text, so type your averages instead. Where you do not tell us something - your team, your competitors - the plan leaves a clearly marked gap for you to fill rather than inventing it. The forecast is a projection from the assumptions it lists, not a promise, and this is not financial advice: the lender makes its own decision.
